The details
The whole thing, in plain words.

1.Who we are
Overnight Sensations LLC is a small business consulting firm in Camarillo, California. "We" and "us" on this page means Overnight Sensations. You can reach us at jt@onsensations.com or 279-444-2737.
This page covers overnightsensations.co, our booking and payment flow, and the email, calls and texts that go with them. Work we do inside a client's own systems is covered by that client's statement of work.
2.What we collect
When you visit the site. Our web host keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. Everything else on the site, fonts included, comes from our own server, so no other company sees your visit. We don't use cookies, analytics or ad pixels.
When you open the booking window. The booking window loads from Cal.com only when you click a booking button. From that click on, Cal.com sees that visit the way any website would, and may use its own cookies inside the window. Until you click, it isn't loaded at all.
On your own device. If you pick a soundtrack, your browser remembers your pick (os-mood) and whether you've already seen the opening screen this visit (os-gate). Both stay in your browser. We never receive them. Clear your browser storage and they're gone.
When you email, call or text us. Whatever you send: your name, contact details and what you tell us about your business.
When you book a call or a kickoff. Your name, email, phone number, business name, website (if you give one), any notes you add, the email addresses of any guests you invite, and the time you picked. If you reschedule or cancel, the reason you give. Calls happen on Zoom.
How you found us. When you book the free call, we ask how you heard about us. Some links we share (from a partner, a post or an email) carry a short label, like utm_source=linkedin. If you book through one of those links, Cal.com saves that label with your booking. It tells us which link you used, nothing more. Nothing is stored on your device to do this.
When you pay or save a card. Our payment processor collects your card details, billing name and address on its own secure form. We see the card brand, the last four digits, the expiry date and the payment record. We never see or store the full card number.
When we work together. The business information you share so we can do the job, as set out in your statement of work.
3.Why we use it
- To answer your questions and set up the call you asked for.
- To send booking confirmations and reminders by email and text.
- To take payment, charge a no-show fee if one applies (see the booking terms), and run any care plan you sign up for.
- To do the work, keep records of it, and meet our tax, accounting and legal duties.
- To learn which ways of finding us actually work. We count that ourselves, from booking answers and link labels, with no analytics.
- To keep the site running and secure.
We don't send marketing texts. We won't add you to a newsletter unless you ask to join one.
4.Who helps us handle it
A few companies process information for us so we can run the business. They use it to provide their service to us, under their own terms and privacy policies.
| Who | What for | What they handle |
| Cal.com | Booking, confirmations, reminders | Your booking details and answers. Cal.com sends our emails and texts through its own providers (currently SendGrid and Twilio). |
| Stripe | Payments, saved cards, care plans | Card details, billing name and address, payment records. Stripe also runs fraud checks. |
| Vercel | Hosting this website | Server logs from your visit. |
| Zoom | Our video calls | The meeting link, and your name, audio, video and chat when you join. |
| Microsoft 365 (our email and calendar) | Talking to you and keeping the appointment | Your emails, and the booking on our calendar. |
We also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or if the business is ever sold or merged (the new owner would be bound by this page). That's the whole list.
5.What we never do
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with anyone for their own marketing, or for advertising that follows you around the web. No other company collects information about you across websites through ours.
6."Do Not Track" and privacy signals
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. We don't track you across sites and we run no analytics or ad trackers, so the site works the same either way: there's nothing for the signal to switch off.
7.How long we keep it
- Server logs: as long as our web host keeps them, usually days to weeks.
- Bookings that didn't turn into work: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Your saved card: held by Stripe for that booking only. It stops being used once the kickoff happens or any no-show fee is settled. A care plan saves a card separately, with your say-so.
- Client records, invoices and payments: as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to seven years.
- Care plan sign-ups: proof that you agreed to the monthly charge, for at least three years.
8.Your say over it
Email jt@onsensations.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us what you want:
- a copy of what we hold about you,
- a correction,
- deletion (we'll keep only what the law makes us keep, like tax records),
- or no more emails or texts from us. You can also reply STOP to any text.
We'll confirm it's really you, then answer within 30 days. No fee, and we won't treat you any differently for asking.
California's consumer privacy law (the CCPA) applies to businesses over certain size thresholds. We're a small firm and fall under them today. We give everyone these rights anyway.
9.Keeping it safe
Card details go straight to Stripe, which is certified to the payment card industry's security standard. Only the people doing your work see your information. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.
10.Kids
Our services are for businesses and the adults who run them. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, tell us and we'll delete it.
11.Changes to this page
When we change this page, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change matters to how we use information we already hold, we'll email active clients before it takes effect.
